AJERA PROJECT RESOURCE COORDINATOR
Heintges Consulting Architects & Engineers are seeking a Project Resource Coordinator with experience using Ajera to join our New York team on a 5-month contract starting late July. This key position supports our Project Managers and Principals and focuses on resource allocation, project planning, and schedule forecasting to ensure that our project staffing requirements are sufficiently met
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Anticipate when a project team will require additional resources and when a new project is likely to start. Forecast cross-project overlaps (“synergies”) and conflicting demands (“perfect storms”) to keep Project Managers aware of workflows on other projects impacting their teams.
- Run bi-weekly staffing meetings to present information simultaneously to all Principals, and send in-depth follow-up report.
- Work with Principals throughout the month to stay on top of their project needs / requests / expectations
- Maintain project schedules in Ajera for all (~85) current projects.
- Interpret and understand the needs of individual projects and people.
- Provide daily support to Project Managers (architects and engineers) through regular communication and analysis.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of internal stakeholders, including working with technical staff at all levels to determine individual capacity.
- Work in-person with New York colleagues, and via Zoom with West Coast and other colleagues.
- Analyze employee utilization and project budgets as needed.
- Maintain flexibility and provide ad hoc support for the business team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Experience with Ajera project management and accounting software is required.
- Solid understanding of Architecture/Engineering/Construction design project workflow.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or resource planning at an Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) firm.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, and other data analysis tools.
- Curious and effective problem-solver. Skilled in presenting findings.
- Positive and engaging personality.
- Must be able to present ideas and analysis in visual/graphic format.
- Authorization to work in U.S. is required.

Hourly rate range: $40 - $45
